
It's hat day at Megan's school. She wore her chicken hat (and put a necklace on the chicken).
I posted a poem at The Miss Rumphius Effect. Through the window. Still kind of clunky, the language. But I stretched, so ha.
Now, off to see my grandmother. She's in a nursing home in Archer City. Has been for almost five years. Alzheimer's is yuck. Awful. I've been visiting less and less. The longer I go, the worse I feel. And the worse she must feel, lying there with no visit from me. ;(

Steph, I love your window poem. It's very adroitly handled. I get such a picture of Megan, yes, but of every 10-year-old girl standing in a window watching the boys who used to be her friends, first, and boys second. You keep going, girl. x
